RSA Design Awards entry; brief to come up with an innovative new sleep solution
Inventing somethingto improve sleep
The idea for Sleep Project came as a result of deep research into the way humans sleep and the reasons why we are sometimes unable to. Put simply, it is a night-light that projects videos from your smartphone onto the ceiling.
The light from the video pulsates in time to the 4-7-8 breathing technique, a method which helps relax the body and mind before sleep.
Controlling behaviours
A project primarily looking at how application of controlling elements upon a space can affect the way people interact with it.
Cause and effect
The space was recorded to collect accurate data, with the results showing that people understood and adhered to the graphic language of road signage and markings – making the space a safer place for people to use.
Visual systems
A project exploring how systems can be depicted visually, guiding our thought and attention to move us physically, emotionally and mentally.
